I just turned the big 4-0

I just turned 40. This is not my year for living dangerously. I am not really fabulous (just little but its a quiet kind of fabulous). I want to actually jot down my attempts to improve my fitness, my personal cooking adventures and for everyone that knows me (or read blogs before 2011) my favorite: my family. I love to read so somewhere along the way, I intend to add stuff about books that I like to read....Hopefully, I will stick with this for more than 2 days....

Found a new favorite thing

It isn't really new, I've tried Bubs and Scrubs before but I every time I tried to get the Cherry Blossom Soap its sold out. I have wanted this since my friend Brenda opened her soap making business. Why am I telling you this? In case you are looking for something to get me for my birthday, I DID just have one you know! Seriously, I have her Yuzu, and A Rose is Still a Rose, I can't decide which I love more. They are as pretty and fragrant as the names are cute. If I weren't supposed to be living frugally my entire bathroom would be loaded with these. As it is, I can sneak them in the house and as long as no one blabs, I can keep my soap habit going. Oh wait, I shouldn't tell you MY favorite scent, you are going to buy them and then what will I do? Ok, ok,ok, there are enough awesome scents to go around. Go ahead and give Bubs and Scrubs a try and get back to me. http://www.bubsandscrubs.com

I have a love hate relationship with infomercials. Particularly beauty products. Have you ever tried mineral makeup? It is indeed wonderful IF you know how to do it. Tap, swirl, apply! Can it be any easier than this? I would love to have a spray machine like Jlo for that bronze appeal but until then I'm working with mineral stuff. I had sheer cover but they make you subscribe for it. I can't commit for that long.

All jokes aside, Ilike the kit with everything you need it. I love the little brushes. You know what they need to tell you, how to clean the brushes!
